blissful babble: weekend fun

i turned 26 a few days ago. um. 26? when did that happen?
i always thought i would feel so much more mature and adult like by the time i was 26.
i guess this is just what adults feel like. themselves. but older.

that may not have made sense.

well moving on then lol...

we spent this last weekend at home with some family + friends. it was one of the more fun weekends home! i got to visit with a few different good, old friends! i miss them all so much.
also spent some quality time stuck in a blizzard with my mom and kronky lol....

we were headed to my moms gym to take scarlett swimming...and i swear as soon as we left it started blizzard-ing! i couldn't see anything. cars weren't moving. after about 45 mins we finally get there and i run my slightly bundled baby across the slushy, snowy parking lot in my flip flops only for them to tell us we can't swim because lessons are going on. yes it's our own fault for not making sure we could. but it still sucked. so then we head to del toro to eat...but it was closed because of the weather lol so then we head HOME...only for traffic to come to a complete stop for about 20 mins so then we detour and it took us about an hour to get home when it should have taken 20 minutes lol.

the next day i got to have lunch at the creperie- which is only the best restaurant ever-with some of my faves.

i had an adult lunch while scarlett hung out with daddy and grandma. but alex brought her later on so i could show her off to the girls :)

oh yeah. so a few minutes after i get to the restaurant alex texts me and says "she just had a poop explosion and i don't see any extra clothes in the diaper bag." (oops) i just texted back...

"crap."

lol. so i found out later him and his mom took her in only her diaper, wrapped in a blanket, to wal mart to buy her a new outfit. what? lol. i don't even know.
