poop happens.

today scarlett and i went to visit the girls at work. it was fun until scar pooped like a mofo and it went EVERYWHERE! quite literally, everywhere...but then after wiping her off
i brought her (naked-no diaper) into the bathroom to clean her up some more and she pees and poops all over my pants. it was an epic mess. (unfortunately i did just say epic)
lol. oooh the joys of motherhood :)
but is it weird that i wasn't grossed out? and didn't even really care that i had baby poop all over me?
hahaha, i guess that's what being a mom does to you. plus it wasn't the first time i had been peed on by a child. working in a room full of 2 year olds-poop happens.
just thought i'd share my poop story for the day ;) also. i never thought i could talk about poop so much.

we put scarlett in the bumbo last week for the first time! it was so cute. she was all leany and wobbly :)
we didn't leave her in for long but she loved it. she has had unusually good head control since she was born. the nurse even commented on how well she was holding up her head right after she was born. she keeps trying to sit up on her own-it's presh.




                        

                                        this is hilarious. she has such a little belly and by little i mean huge.

and it begins...

i have finally started this blog. i have wanted to since i got pregnant but never seemed to be able
to get around to it. that's a problem i have - having so many things i want to do, but not making
the time to do them. no more excuses! i am committing to blogging...[mostly] about this sweet little family of mine (happy face).

so on that note...

scarlett just turned 2 months. TWO MONTHS. she is so big.
13 lbs and just over 23 inches long!
we call her our little chunk for a reason :)
she has a million different expressions that are each just the cutest thing EVER! she loves to smile and talk to us. especially in the mornings it seems. she always wakes up so happy! she definitely gets that
from her daddy ;) i love it. everyday i look at her and i just can't get over how much i love this tiny little person. and to think it's just a glimpse of how much God loves us!
becoming a mother has definitely shown me God's heart in a new way. and i am definitely in awe of this God who loves so fiercely and tenderly at the same time.
